Original Cannon in D Minor by Two Steps From Hell:

Cannon in D Minor is a Celtic-sounding, military tattoo styled epic music track from the 2014 album "Battlecry" by Two Steps From Hell. The original features drum corps snares and some shouts and it's a real favourite from Battlecry! It was also very much requested recently!

This is not a musical "canon", this is the one with two Ns, the kind that goes BANG!

Cannon in D Minor was a fun one to play so I put that across in the video! It was probably a quick one by Thomas Bergersen. It's mostly light, short notes so there were some playful moments. I was pretty surprised at how different the character of this was when translated to piano! A little different to the epic music when played by an orchestra.

Full disclosure: I use some editing magic to make these videos as I don't have time to learn them thoroughly like I would for a concert performance!

Thomas Bergersen's tracks are my favourite trailer music without a doubt. The way he crafts this epic music is incredible and it's an absolute pleasure to arrange it for piano, it works so well! I try my best to get that big sound too!

Please expect more Two Steps From Hell/Thomas Bergersen and more epic music! If you'd like to support making me videos like this, you can become my patron on Patreon from $1 per video!
